Every child born at Dunedin Hospital receives a free gift pack from Dunedin Public Libraries and the University Bookshop. Packs contain a baby picture book (kindly donated by the University Bookshop), Library AV vouchers, membership forms and information about the Library and its' services.

We believe this free service is especially important as it reflects our belief in the importance of introducing babies to books at an early age.
